The Talus Pro GTX bridges the gap between a durable, all-leather backpacking boot and a svelte, performance-driven hiker tuned for speed. For grip we craft the Talus upper onto a Vibram Nuasi sole, with a grippy XSTrek rubber compound. Molded polyurethane in the midsole gives the cushioning of a running shoe, but with enough support to portage a 40-pound pack. Full-grain, 2.0mm leather requires zero break-in and fronts a GORE-TEX waterproof, breathable membrane. Keep it mellow or give in to summit fever- the Talus Pro will oblige.
